Before becoming a personal trainer, I tried every extreme diet and workout. I also felt like nothing worked and I just didn’t have enough time to take care of myself. Eventually, I was able to find a sustainable approach to exercise and nutrition that brought about not only a physical transformation, but a mental one as well.
Learning how to strength train and developing a healthy, habit-based approach to nutrition transformed my life in such a positive way that I made it my mission to share this approach with others. That’s why I opened Live Fit Studios, where we help people find and harness their inner strength by lifting weights, getting stronger, and taking care of their bodies.
When you arrive at our studio, you’ll be greeted by an energetic and compassionate coach who understands your goals and is dedicated to helping you achieve them. Whether you’re taking part in a small group strength and conditioning class or a one-on-one training session, you’ll receive the individual attention and personal motivation you need for a safe and effective workout. Hi! I’m Mariah.
I grew up in a household where exercise was a punishment and if you ate a “treat” then you had to “work it off.” It led me down a path of toxic fad diets and excessive exercise which made me feel miserable for too long. Over the past 10 years, I have gone from a newbie in the weight section to a National Academy of Sports Medicine, certified personal trainer. I went from under eating and binging to fueling my body properly and understanding how each macronutrient serves a purpose. I have lifted weights through 4 pregnancies in 5 years and seen myself transform physically and mentally through 4 postpartum journeys.
My passion is helping women, especially other moms, who want to find that balance between the chaos of life and motherhood and their own personal health and fitness goals. Why am I so passionate about helping others find that balance? Because I have seen and experienced the ugly side of this industry, and I want to be your safe person; one who gets to know you and your goals, and trains you safely and effectively in order to accomplish them!
